GEOGRAPHY AND CLIMATE DRIVE THE JOB

Big Island, Hawaii
The east side of Hawaii is very moist and humid, leading to extreme mold and mildew problems.
The west side has extreme sun/UV ray damage to finishes, resulting in fading, chalking, and dry shrinkage.
Fire Island, New York
Thirty-two miles long and 1/4 mile wide, the island is surrounded by salt water and has drastic temperature changes.
The island has mostly wood sided homes and decks. Thus my extensive experience with mildew removal prior to painting.
Sunset Beach, North Carolina
The whole area suffers from exposure to extreme storms, and environmental and temperature extremes.

As a current Sunset Beach homeowner, I am able to provide personal painting services to both year-round residents as well as vacation homeowners.
MAINTENANCE AND PROTECTION

In any coastal home, it is smart to be aware of the damage the environment does and regularly maintains their investment by protecting it and keeping it looking great while they own it.
Unfortunately, I do get jobs whose wood has been neglected for many years, resulting in the need for carpentry repairs or replacement, extensive cleaning, sanding, scraping, caulking, and priming.
It costs way more to sporadically paint/stain than keeping your house on a reguler painting schedule.
